It is no surprise that Caroline became a dressmaker, after all it was in her blood having two generations of grandparents before her who were tailors and seamstresses.
Caroline excelled at Textiles throughout school and then obtained a First Class BA honours degree at Manchester University for Fashion Design and Technology.
Caroline Bramley was founded in 2010 after many years within the fashion industry. She began her own business by altering wedding dresses for local Bridal shops and then went on to make bridesmaid dresses for brides who couldn’t find any exciting gowns for their maids.
The business grew from strength to strength and she then began to specialise in creating Prom, Holy Communion and Wedding dresses. In 2016 Caroline Bramley won a CNBC TV show where she showcased her business against other entrepreneurs shown on Sky TV called 'Pop up start up'.
More recently, she has worked with celebrities such as Danielle Lloyd and Katie Ferdinand making their bridesmaid dresses and is well known in Birmingham for her excellence and knowledge within both the dressmaking and alteration industry.
In April 2022 Caroline decided that she would make the leap and open her first dress boutique specialising in Prom Dresses and Alterations.
