Ideally you should start looking for a Prom Dress the September before your Prom date as we only sell one style of dress per school (not even in a different colour). If you visit us ASAP then this will mean that you will have first pick of prom dresses for your school and there will be less chance of a dress you want, already been sold to your school. Another point to consider is that some dresses can take up to 4 or more months to arrive in store.
You may have some questions regarding your appointment, whether it be an enquiry relating to purchasing a Prom Dress, Dress Alterations or Wedding Dress Cleaning. Therefore we have put together some of our most frequently asked questions to assist you.

Bring the shoes and underwear you plan to wear on the day (a hair band or clip can always be useful too). Be sparing with make up and fake tan on the day of your fitting as we don’t want to get your dress dirty.
Please note that we will not shorten your dress without your shoes as we pride ourselves on providing you with the perfect fit.
Depending on how big the job is and whether we are in our busy period (March - August) will determine how long we need to complete the work. We recommend at least 2- 3 weeks for general alterations and longer for something more complex as you may need numerous fittings.
We also offer an express alterations service at an additional cost.

Cleaning
Ideally, we advocate that you have your dress cleaned at the earliest opportunity after your wedding day. It is doubtful that your dress will have remained in an immaculate condition on the day of your wedding and free from any dirt. It is important for your dress to be cleaned before it is stored to prevent the fabric from deteriorating over time. After the cleaning process we will lovingly wrap your dress in acid free paper and store in a box if you wish, for safe keeping.
Cleaning your dress is a lengthy process that takes time from start to finish, as in most cases there are an abundance of layers. Any marks are tackled by hand with a small soft brush and gentle chemical free solutions and in some cases the dresses are washed twice.
95% of our dresses come back immaculate but on the rare occasion we may struggle on the odd stain. We will do our very best to remove all the marks and stains but like any other cleaning company we cannot give you a 100% guarantee.
The boxing service is an option available to our customers but is not essential. We would recommend that you have your dress packed in several layers of acid free tissue paper as it will ensure the longevity and protection of your gown. If you would prefer, you can also supply us with your own dress box and you can take advantage of the specialist acid free tissue wrapping service.
